Connie Francis Pop-Up Experience

Overview

For this project, we were tasked with creating a pop-up event of our choice. As a longtime fan of 1960s pop, I chose to center my event around Connie Francis,a beloved teenage pop star known for timeless hits like "Who's Sorry Now?"and "Lipstick on Your Collar." (Also because I listen to her soooo much during the pandemic.) I wanted to create an event celebrating her music.

This pop-up event celebrates Connie Francis's music and legacy. Where attendees can listen to the album, dance, and have the chance to buy Connie’s album.

Promotional Poster

Designed for both social media and physical display outside of the theater, the poster features a collage-style design that blends textures and a funky typeface, capturing the spirit of Connie Francis while appealing to a contemporary audience. The tagline on the bottom is from my favorite song, fills the clean space of the poster.

Merchandise Design

A vinyl record (again). I do love creating record designs, as it the best memorabilia and its cool to figure out how to fit enough (or less) information in a sleeve. This record would be a remastered of Connie’s Greatest Hits, and continues with the poster collage design. An aqua blue as the record color, and mini heart collage in the center.

T- Shirts inspired by Francis songs.
